Conversion Set for the modernization of control systems C142 C116 C242
The interface card can be used as an adapter card for the ISEL UI 4C Interface Card controller series C142. Thus, the functionality of these controllers is significantly expanded. The ISEL controls originally built a path control for 2 1/2 D machining.
With this adapter it is now possible to retrofit the control system such that the stepper motors of the machine can be controlled directly via the PC parallel port with clock and direction signals. So can be expanded with limited means the 2 1/2 D control for 3D contouring control. The present control system can be converted within a few minutes using the adapter.
The corresponding signals are routed to the front panel and can be accessed via the LPT printer port.
This opens up significant opportunities, such as the use of third-party software with pulse and direction output.
